Obituary of Debbie Springfield

CASSATT – A memorial service for Deborah Lynn “Debbie” Springfield, 55, will be held on Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Baptist Church, Elgin.  The Rev. Ken Jackson will officiate.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall.  Memorials may be made to the America Heart Association.

    Mrs. Springfield passed away at home on Tuesday, October 9, 2019.  Born in Camden, she was the daughter of Ruth Branham Cooper and the late Alfred James Branham.  She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.  She enjoyed crafts and gardening.

    Surviving are daughter, Presley Elizabeth Springfield; step-son, William Tim Springfield III; her companion, Leon Wilson and his son, Jayden Wilson; mother, Ruth Cooper of Elgin; sister, Sharen Whitfield (Jeff); and many nieces, nephews and great nieces.  She was predeceased by her husband, William Tim Springfield II; and step-daughter, Vanessa Francis.
