Obituary of Tina M. Bowen

PELION – Funeral service for Tina Marie Bowen, 57, will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Sand Hill Heights Baptist Church, Elgin, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

    Miss Bowen passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2019.  Born in Hanahan, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Nick Bowen and Joan Ellisor Bowen. She enjoyed reading, writing and walking on the beach.

    Surviving are her children, Jared Berry (Amanda), Sara Hudson and Jesse Bowen (Heather Boykin); sister, Donna Bowen; brother, Jerry Bowen (Lisa); and grandchildren, Cheyenne Kerr, Bryson Blevins, Faye Berry, Sophia Bersoff and Skye Berry. She was predeceased by her son, Scottie Kerr; and sister, Peggy Bowen-Corley.
