A graveside service for Susan Potts Simpson, 74, of Dalzell, SC, will be held at Church of the Ascension Cemetery on Saturday, August, 15, 2020 at 11:00 AM. The Rev. Joel Osborne will officiate. Memorials may be sent to the Church of the Ascension, PO Box 129, Rembert, SC 29128.

Susan died Tuesday, August 4, 2020. Born March 13, 1946 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Pauline Eugenie Hertzog Potts and The Rev. William Thomas Potts. She was the owner operator of The Broom Place in Boykin, SC and a member of the Church of the Ascension.

Susan is survived by her husband of 53 years, John Brissey Simpson.

She was predeceased by her sister Mary Jeanne Potts Moody.
