ELGIN- A graveside service for Robert James “Rocky” Watts, 33, will be held Saturday at 12:00 p.m. in Hillcrest Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Ken Jackson will officiate. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gideon’s International.
Rocky passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2020. Born in Camden, he was a son of Leatha Ann Spradley Watts and the late Douglas McArthur Watts. Rocky was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church, he enjoyed fishing.
Surviving are his mother, Leatha Watts of Elgin; siblings, Allan Watts (Karen Turner) of Hopkins, Amy Purvis (Ricky) of Lugoff; 2 nieces; 3 nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a sister, Evelyn Diane Blizzard.
