COLUMBIA – A time of gathering to celebrate the life Deborah H. Kirkland, 63, will be held Saturday from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff.

Ms. Kirkland passed away at home on Sunday, December 6, 2020.  Born in England, she was the daughter of the late Robert Craig Hopple and Irmaguard Marie Krepper Hopple.  She enjoyed cooking and gardening.

Surviving are her children, Benjamin Kirkland (Valerie) of Chapin; daughter, Amber Kirkland of Columbia; brother, Glenn Hopple of Lugoff; sister, Barbie King (Dale); and 6 grandchildren. 

She was predeceased by a brother, Neal Hopple.
