KERSHAW – George Salter Gaskin, 72, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2020. Born in Greenville, S.C., he was a son of the late Grover C. Gaskin and Frances Elizabeth Salter Gaskin. Mr. Gaskin severed in the U.S. Navy and was a former member of the Camden Lions Club. He enjoyed farming, fishing and the outdoors.

Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Karan Lowe Gaskin; children, Kristin Logan (Casey) of Chester, VA, Kelly Gaskin of Elgin, S.C., Christopher Gaskin of Elgin, S.C.; and grandchildren, Hunter Logan and Connor Logan.

He was predeceased by a brother, Grover Owen Gaskin.

A private family graveside service for Mr. Gaskin will be held at a later date in Greenville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Kershaw, S.C.
