Obituary of Karen Hendrix Lamoy

CAMDEN – A private graveside service for Karen Hendrix Lamoy, 70, will be held in Malvern Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Paul Stephens will officiate. A public memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Lamoy passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020. Born in Hartsville, she was the daughter of the late Wister Hendrix and Mamie Watford Hendrix. Mrs. Lamoy was a member of Grace Bible Church. She enjoyed attending her church, shopping, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are her Husband of 50 years, Robert Perry Lamoy; children, Terri Stack (Johnny) of Lugoff, Tracey Davis (Greg) of Cassatt, Russell Lamoy (Stefanie) of Simpsonville; a brother, A. Odell Hendrix (Sarah) of Camden; and grandchildren, Taylor N. Stack, Dalton H. Davis, Perribeth Lamoy, Bryson C. Davis and Paxton D. Lamoy; and also many friends who she considered family.

She was predeceased by an infant boy and girl, and an adopted brother, Otis L. Hall of Greenville, S.C.
