BAMBERG– A graveside service for Carol Diane Mathis, 59, will be held Thursday at 3:00 p.m. in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Joe Stines will officiate.

    Carol passed away December 24, 2020. Born in Vallejo, CA, she was a daughter of Charles Mathis and the late Dorothy Ann Bryant. She enjoyed going to the beach, and spending time with her partner, Tekoah and her dog, Sassy.

    Surviving are her daughter, Tami Jo Shipman; companion, Tekoah Murdaugh; grandchildren, Isiah and Elijha; and a sister, Lisa Mathis.

She was predeceased by her mother, and sisters, Debra Mathis and Patricia Price.
