CAMDEN – A funeral service for James Leroy Jones, Jr., 54, will be held Friday at 3:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2-3 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Jones passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021. Born in Camden, he was a son of Rosa Lee Jones and the late James Leroy Jones, Sr. Mr. Jones enjoyed many different hobbies such as fishing, mechanic work, and being a comedian.  

Surviving are his children, Jessica Jones, Melissa Jones, Charann Hammond; mother, Rosa Lee Jones; companion, Judy Taylor; and siblings, Floyd Drakeford (Nadine), Norman Drakeford, Barbara Pressley (Kenneth), Grover Drakeford, Carol Dean Todaro (Anthony), Maree Haggings, Josephine Haggins and Devale Haggins.
