Betty Lee Twitty DeBruhl, 91, of Camden, died Thursday, January 14, 2021. Born in Camden, she was the daughter of the late B.L. and Gular Dixon Twitty, and wife of the late James Wylie “Jack” DeBruhl. Betty attended Palmer College and worked as a receptionist and dental assistant for Dr. David Smith, and also as an assistant for Donald Holland.
Services will be private.
She is survived by her children, Darlene “Dolly” DeBruhl Rowland of Camden, James DeBruhl (Carolyn) of Blythewood, and Jason DeBruhl (Chelle) of Myrtle Beach; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was predeceased by seven sisters and two brothers.
The family would like to thank Kershaw Health nurses, Kershaw Health Hospice, Dr. Emily Huggins, Dr. Jack Scheuer, and Dr. Carl Kearse for the kindness and care.
