CAMDEN – A funeral service for Gayle Cassady Wilson, 60, will be held Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Gene Stokes will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday from 5-7 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Theil-Myer Pet Adoption Center.

    Mrs. Wilson passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021. Born in Camden, S.C. she was a daughter of Barbara Parker Cassady and the late W. Harold Cassady, Sr. Mrs. Wilson was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. She enjoyed crochet, wood engraving, and spending time with her grandchildren.

    Surviving are her husband of 41 years, Stephen L. “Steve” Wilson; mother, Barbara Cassady; daughter, Stephanie Hardin (Jason); sons, Stephen Wilson (William), Graham Wilson (Savannah), grandchildren, Joshua Logan, Jacob Hamilton, Jewell “Emma” Wilson; and siblings, W. Harold Cassady, Jr. and Elizabeth Molina (Lucio).
