KERSHAW – A memorial service for Kathy Ann Stevens, 62, will be held on Sunday at 6:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff.  The Rev. Gene Stokes will officiate. The family will receive friends on Sunday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. 

    Mrs. Stevens passed away at home on Tuesday, March 2, 2021.  Born in Chicago, Ill., she was the daughter of the late William Thomas Hornbuckle and Sandra Livergood Hornbuckle.  She enjoyed cooking, caring for her animals, plants, reading her bible and caring for others.

     Surviving are her husband of 25 years, James David Stevens; step-children, Kayla Ferguson  (Kenneth) of Melissa, Texas and Frank Stevens (Ramona) of Elgin; sister, Debra Sue Hornbuckle; and grandchildren, Nathan Ferguson and Colt Ferguson. 

She was predeceased by a brother, Ronald Thomas Hornbuckle.
