Ms. Eva Mae Moses, daughter of the late Oliver and Mary Moses, was born in Fairfield County, South Carolina.  Her Earthly life ended on March 9, 2021 after an extended illness. 

Ms. Moses attended Kershaw County Public Schools.  She was reared in a religious home, and received Christ at an early age.  She was a devoted member of Scott Hill Baptist Church until she moved to Brooklyn, New York.  There she joined Saint John Baptist Church, where she served faithfully also singing on the choir.  

Ms. Moses was a seamstress at Archie and Company making bags and lining for wigs.  She worked there for many years until her retirement.  She loved fine clothes and hats, Christian cross word puzzles and cooking.

Eva Mae was preceded in death by her son, Oliver Moses; two brothers, Oliver Moses, Jr. and Grover Moses; five sisters, Bertha Reed, Della Adamson, Ellen Miller, Emma Gray and Mary Lee Moses. 

She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving son, Calvin (Sarah) Moses of Buffalo, NY; Besty McLeod, who was raised as a sister, of Brooklyn, NY and of other relatives and friends.
