Burl Boyd died Wednesday, March 24, 2021. He was born in Lee County, SC, the son of the late Clarence Boyd and Marie Simon Boyd. 

Burl is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mamie Lee Tucker Boyd; daughter, Angela Nicole Boyd-Barker (Sean); sons. Jason Burl Boyd, Nicholas Van Boyd, Matthew Alexander Boyd; grandchildren, Hilary Arden Barker, Gavin Mason Barker, Sofia London Boyd; sisters, Elizabeth Boyd, Louise Nelson; brothers, James Boyd (Ruby Jean), Thomas Boyd, Henry Boyd (Sharyn) and Anthony Boyd.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, is assisting the family.
