RICHMOND, VA – A graveside service for Mark Anthony Adamson, 56, will be held Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 11:00am in Sweet Home Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Torres Perkins will officiate. A public viewing will be held Monday, May 3, 2021 from 10:00am – 5:00pm at Powers Funeral Home.

Mark Anthony Adamson, son of Dorothy Adamson and the late Herman Moultrie Jr, was born in New York City, NY, on December 18, 1964. He departed this earth on Monday, April 26, 2021. Mark was employed as the House Manager of a Transitional Home in Richmond, VA. Mark was well known and loved in the community. His main passion in life was to help those that couldn’t help themselves. He spent much of his time feeding the homeless and providing assistance to the disadvantaged in his community.

Mark is survived by his mother, Dorothy Adamson, of Camden; his siblings: Wesley Adamson, Geraldine Adamson, Barbara Spann, Diane Adamson, and Renee Adamson, all of Camden; Maria Adamson, Yvette Anderson, and Malik Moultrie, all of New York; and Jasmine F. Moultrie and Joy C. Moultrie, both of Jacksonville, Florida. Mark also leaves to cherish his memory, many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by siblings, Leroy Adamson and Janette Adamson.
