A funeral service to celebrate the life of Betty Sue Copeland,73, of Ehrhardt, SC, will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel. The family will receive friends at 1:00 PM, one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens in Elgin. Rev. Ricky Crosby will officiate. Betty entered the arms of her loving Savior on Sunday, July 11, 2021. Born in Chester, SC, she was the daughter of the late William James and Pearl Catledge Hall Copeland.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Susie Shrader (Michael) of Walterboro; son, Robert Dean Cornwell (Jill Marie) of Pelzer; grandchild, Sydney Ryan Cornwell; great-grandchildren, Mackie Dean Sexton, Tara Lynn Sexton, and Koby Ryan Sexton; and sister, Mary Ann Clark of Waxhaw, NC.

In addition to her parents, Betty was predeceased by her grandson, Richard Dean Sexton, and sister, Willie Mae Hudson.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
