Obituary of Mel’toria Monique Missouri

REMBERT – A celebration of life service for Mel’toria Monique Missouri, 40, will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to the family.

    Mel’toria passed away Friday, September 3, 2021. Born in Columbia, she was a daughter of Robert Mitchell and Grace Missouri. Mel’toria was a CNA for Sumter Rehabilitation Center. She enjoyed drawing, arts and crafts, cooking, singing, dancing, and spending time with her family.

    Left to cherish her memory are her children, Gracious Missouri, Destiny Truesdell, Zion Missouri, Nasier Ragin, Errie Ragin, Nyjeion Ragin, Ali’ana Missouri; father, Robert Mitchell; mother, Grace Missouri; siblings, Robert Missouri, Sherita Nelson, Shakima Bradsford, Terrance Woods, Tony Missouri; and half-siblings, Constance Gripper, Tiffany Clyburn, and Yolanda Mitchell. She was preceded in death by a brother, Malcolm Johnson.
