Obituary of Coley “Trey” McKenzie, III

CAMDEN – Funeral service for Coley “Trey” McKenzie, III, 51, will be held on Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. at the First Church of the Nazarene in Camden with burial to follow in Quaker Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Monday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff.

    Mr. McKenzie passed away at Lexington Medical Center on Saturday, October 2, 2021.  Born in Camden, he was the son of Sharon Baker McKenzie and the late Coley McKenzie Jr.  He was a welder and enjoyed hunting, fishing, drag racing and dirt track racing.

    Surviving are his wife of 31 years, Lydia Arledge “Tina” McKenzie; sons, Coley “Lee” McKenzie, IV, and Dalton Ryan McKenzie; mother, Sharon McKenzie; and sisters, Tammy Bowers (Joe) and Tonya Melton (Brian).
