Obituary of Sandra Jackson Williamson

LUGOFF – A Funeral service for Sandra Jackson Williamson, 74, will be held on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at 4 p.m. at Powers Funeral home with burial to follow at Hardshell Cemetery. The Family will receive friends 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. prior to the service at Powers Funeral Home.

    Mrs. Williamson passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021.  Born in Kershaw County, she was the daughter of the late Martha Ann and Elliott J. Jackson. Mrs. Williamson was a caring Mother, Grandmother, and Sister and she enjoyed spending time with her family, as well as sitting on the front porch watching the birds and enjoying God’s work and his creation.

    Surviving are her daughters, Sandra Ellyn Carr (Chris), and Sophia L. Ferrell; son, Gregory Aaron Williamson (Ashley); sisters, Yvonne Brazell and Pamela J. Bowen (Tim); brother, Philip C. Jackson (Ginger); grandchildren, Elliott Carr, Tucker Carr, Collin Williamson, Gabriella Williamson, Vannessa Williamson and Domnique McLean.  

          She was predeceased by her late husband Gregory Clyde Williamson; sons, Paul Howard Barnes II and infant Paul Eugene Barnes; sisters, Lois Boheler, Mildred Jackson, and Kathryn Blume; brothers, Stonewall Jackson, Samuel Jackson, and Michael Jackson.

          In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hardshell Cemetery.
