Obituary of Reba Bradley Thompson

CAMDEN – Funeral service for Reba Bradley Thompson, 90, will be held on Thursday at 3:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Sandy Grove united Methodist Church Cemetery.  The Rev. Joe Stines will officiate.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society – Carol Grotnes Belk Campus Hope Lodge, 269 Calhoun St, Charleston, SC 29401.

     Mrs. Thompson, wife of the late Lewis Willie Thompson, passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2021.  Born in Kershaw County, she was the daughter of the late Leavy L. Bradley and Ellie Deese Bradley.  She was a member of El-Bethel Faith Community Church.  She enjoyed gardening, flowers and traveling.

    Surviving are his children, Wayne Thompson (Cynthia) of Lugoff, Ronnie Thompson of Lugoff, Billy Thompson (Teresa) of Camden, Patsy Thompson of Camden and Mike Thompson of Camden; sisters, Marie Bussart of Bishopville, Peggy Jones of Lexington and Jody Ann Bradley of Columbia; 9 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by brothers, Cecil, Clyde, Donnie, Edward and Earl Bradley.
