Barbara Anne Polson Horton of Camden, South Carolina | 1934 – 2021 | Obituary

A Graveside service for Barbara Anne Polson Horton, 87, was held Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Malvern Hill Baptist Church.  Rev. Buster Morris officiated.  Memorials may be made to Connie Maxwell Children’s Home, 810 Maxwell Avenue, Greenwood, SC 29646.

Barbara died Thursday, October 28, 2021.  The daughter of the late Charles Lowman and Norah Tidwell Polson.  She was a member of Malvern Hill Baptist Church.

Barbara is survived by her sisters, Frances P. Griswold, of Camden and Jacqueline P. Lee, of Elgin; brother, Franklin “Buster” Polson (Brenda), of Camden; sisters-in-law, Margarette S. Polson and Mary G. “Bobbie” Polson, both of Camden and numerous nieces and nephews.

Other than her parents, Barbara was predeceased by her husband, Curtis L. Horton; siblings, Stella P. Pritchard, Bernice Polson, John Woodrow Polson, Charles Lowman Polson, Jr., Alvo Willis Polson, Martha P. Maddox and John Leo Polson.
