Ruth Stewart Young of Rembert, South Carolina | 1922 – 2021 | Obituary

Ruth Stewart Young passed away November 5, 2021, after a long, well lived life.  Ruth was born in Columbia on March 6, 1922. 

She is predeceased by her husband of 72 years, Paul Lanier Young, Sr., sister, Helen Kington and grandson Bradford Lanier Brown. 

Surviving her are her daughter, Sandra Brown Vinson, her son Paul Lanier Young, Jr.; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. 

Ruth was an avid homemaker and gardener and was employed by Skyline Manufacturing and DuPont.  She was devoted to her church, family and friends and will be long remembered for her loving, caring, serving ways.

She was a member at First Baptist Church in Camden.  Memorials may be made to, MUSC Hospice Lugoff, 1165 Highway 1 South, Suite 400, Lugoff, SC 29078.
