Mr. Atkinson passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022. He was born in Turbeville, SC, and was the son of the late Edgar B. Atkinson and Nita Mae Byrd. He retired as a construction worker for Matador Motor Inn. He enjoyed making bird houses, wood working, fishing, and playing Bingo with his family.

He is survived by his brothers, William Atkinson and Bobby Atkinson; numerous nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and nephews as well.

He was predeceased by parents, Edgar B. Atkinson and Nita Mae Byrd; brother, Robert Atkinson; and sister, Betty Jane Osborne.
