RIDGEWAY – A time of gathering to celebrate the life Samantha Nicole Dinkins, 32, will be held on Wednesday from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Autism Speaks, 1060 State Road, Second Floor, Princeton, N.J.  08540.

    Miss Dinkins passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022 at Prisma Health Richland.  Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of Lester Carlisle Dinkins Jr. and Sherry Lynn Williams Dinkins.  She enjoyed being outdoors shooting skeet and kayaking.

    Surviving are her children, Bransul Gilfillen, McKenzie Gilfillen and Michael Fodero-Folger; brother, William Carlton Dinkins; paternal grandparents, Lester Dinkins Sr. and Elizabeth Dinkins; maternal grandmother, Ester Gale Hood; maternal grandfather, Nathan Williams; Paternal great-grandmother, Mary Branham; and uncle, David C. Williams.  She was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Werner Glen Hood; and paternal great-grandfather, Rudolph Branham.
