ELGIN – A visitation for Lawrence Fredric Adams, 73, will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, from 5:00 – 7:00pm at Powers Funeral Home. 

    Mr. Adams passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2022. Born in Modesto, California, he was the son of the late Lawrence F. Adams, Sr. and Hannah Smith Adams. Following his retirement from the U.S. Army, he was a truck driver.

    Surviving is wife, Victoria Yopp Adams; and his extended family, Kelley Yopp, and her children.
