Obituary for Rickey Donnell Stradford

Mr. Rickey “Dunk” Stradford, entered into eternal rest Sunday, February 13, 2022, in Westville, SC.

Rickey, affectionately known as Dunk, was born on November 18,1983, in Kershaw County, South Carolina to Charles Drakeford and Priscilla Drakeford. He received his education in the Kershaw County Public School system.

Rickey was preceded in death by his grandparents Frank Williams and Laura Williams, four uncles Charlie, Johnny, Frank Jr. and Gene; a brother, Patrick Drakeford; special friend, Otiya Thompson; two God-brothers, Lavon and Lavaris Dunham.

Rickey “Dunk” Stradford leaves to cherish his memory: his parents Charles and Priscilla Drakeford; five daughters, Tatiyana, Kaniah, Donnaja, Donyai, and Journei; five sons, Dontrell, NyRell, Vontrez, Tae’Yon, and Kaiser; three grandkids, Kamarion, Ki’Mya, and Ace; one sister, Nakia (Dan) Gary; three brothers, Terrence, Dexter, and Deshawn; a special daughter he raised for his brother Patrick, Patrianna; seven nieces, Tyriana, Ke’Ilah, Trentaysia, Lauryn, Talasiah, Taliyah, and Johnasia; five nephews, Larreek, Terrence Jr., LaDauris, Jordin, and Ta’Mari; his God-mother, Linda Dunham, three special friends, Kimberly Jones, Tiffany Holliday, and Trey Tucker; a host of cousins, other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
