Graveside services for Belle Farmer Magaw, 93, will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at Bethlehem United Methodist Church, 110 Pinchum Sly Road, Bishopville, SC 29010. Rev. David Dority will officiate. The family will receive friends and family immediately following the service. Memorials may be made to the Lions Club International Foundation, 300 W. 22nd Street, Oak Brook, IL, 60523-8842.
Belle was born May 5, 1928, to the late George Farmer and Addie Atkinson Farmer.
Belle is survived by her son, David Dority (Claudia), of Greenwood; granddaughter, Hollie D. Motley (Charles), of Harlingen, TX; grandson, Joseph Dority (Cathy), of Ware Shoals, SC; 3 great-grandsons, Jackson, Ben, and Luke.
Other than her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Lester Everett Magaw; brothers, Herbert Farmer, J.C. Farmer, Jimmy Farmer, and Clifton Farmer.
The family wishes to express appreciation to the caregivers of Belle Magaw: Isabelle Gaskins, Catherine McClendon, Elizabeth Earles, Nicole Glee, and Bea Williams.
