Obituary of Gail McKay Coulter

A memorial service honoring the life of Gail McKay Coulter, 63, will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Powers Funeral Home, with Rev. Charles Miller officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service.

Mrs. Coulter passed away at home surrounded by family on Tuesday, March 22, 2022. Born in Elgin, SC on June 3, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Woodrow McKay and Shelby Baker McKay. Gail worked as a Forbearance Officer for the South Carolina Student Loans Department. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and liked to work in her yard. She was an avid WWE fan and spent her free time playing games on her phone.

Gail is survived by her daughter, Brandi Coulter; her brother, Chris McKay (Terri); and grandchildren, Sean Bennett and Sierra Bennett.

In addition to her parents, Gail was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Coulter.
