Obituary of Ted W. Moore

LUGOFF –Ted William Moore, 77, passed away Tuesday, April 05, 2022. Born in Kannapolis, N.C., he was a son of the late Walter Henry Moore and Vera Whittaker Moore. Mr. Moore was a member of Lugoff Church of God. He had worked as a lifeguard and retired as tanker driver for Praxair. Mr. Moore enjoyed fishing, surfing, golfing and playing poker.

    Surviving are his wife, Teresa Ann Moore; children, Kim Urban (Andrew), David Moore (Bonnie), Melia Bailey (Keith), Ernest Teague (Ami), and Hollie Teague; a sister Julie Staphins; 18 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.  

    A celebration of life service for Ted will be held Saturday, April 23 at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The Rev. Tim Shirley will officiate.
