Obituary of Henry Wallace Hinson
BETHUNE – Graveside service for Henry Wallace Hinson, 83, will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery, Bethune. The family will receive friends Tuesday 5-7 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff.
Mr. Hinson passed away at home surrounded by his family on Saturday, April 16, 2022. He was born in Bethune. He retired from Springs Industries and owned and operated a lawn mower repair shop for over 40 years. He enjoyed fishing, building things and raising goats.
Surviving are his wife, Bobbie Jean Kissiah Railey Hinson; step-children, Judy Dease of Blairsville, Ga., Betty Crowley of Camden, Deborah Jordan of Camden, Lewis Railey (Betty) of Bethune, David Railey of Lugoff and Tina Railey of Bethune; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and his special baby, Aubree “Little Susie”.
He was predeceased by his step-daughter, Barbara Dripps.
