Funeral services for Thelma Goff Wilson will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at First Church of the Nazarene, 2276 Jefferson Davis Highway, Camden, SC 29020. Reverends Amanda Watts and David Snodgrass will officiate. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 PM on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, 1112 Fair Street, Camden, SC 29020. Memorials may be made to First Church of the Nazarene.
Thelma, the daughter of the late John P. Goff and Maggie Hinson Goff, died on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at the age of 98. She attended Blaney High School, was a longtime active member of First Church of the Nazarene, and had retired from Skyline Manufacturing Company.
Thelma is survived by her children Libby Robinson, Larry Crane (Brenda), Edna Floyd (George), Geri Carawan (Bobby), Kathy Sturkie (Chuck), Donnie Wilson (Pam); son-in-law Gene Parnell (Delores); 16 grandchildren, Debbie Bryson, Donna Robinson, Fred Robinson, Sherrie Howard, Grant Crane, Ginger Ross, Jason Floyd, Chet Carawan, Jennifer Thiele, Traci Ellis, Gary Parnell, Crystal Noyes, Blake Branham, Justin Wilson, Brian Wilson, Sarah Nettles; 21 great-grandchildren; many great-great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law Minnie Goff and Shirley Goff; brother-in-law Tommy Jordan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Thelma was predeceased by 2 husbands, Fred Crane, who died in WWII and Woodrow Wilson; daughter Lorraine Parnell; sisters Rena Humphries, Mildred Ross, Susie Bowers, Eloise Starling, Wylene Jordan; brothers Ezell Goff, James Goff, Linwood Goff, and Leroy Goff.
The family would like to express their appreciation for the loving care given to Thelma by the staff of the Karesh Wing.
