Obituary for Priscilla Laverne Flenoid

Priscilla Laverne Addison Flenoid was born November 3, 1952, in Blaney South Carolina to the late Walter Addison and Alberta Wood Addison. She entered into eternal rest surrounded by her family on April 20, 2022.

Priscilla was educated in Kershaw County public schools and was a graduate of Blaney High School. Following her graduation from high school, she attended nursing school at the University of South Carolina where she earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing. Later, she earned a master’s degree of nursing from Chapman University. Priscilla worked in California as a nurse for twenty years before moving back home. She retired from the South Carolina Department of Mental Health.

She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Addison, Sr; her brother, Walter Addison, Jr, Robert Wood and Troy Addison, Sr.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, James Flenoid; a loving mother, Alberta Wood Addison; siblings, Lawrence E. (Janice) Wood, Nellie Ruff, Yvonne Addison and Connie Addison Berry; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A private graveside service was held Friday, April 22, 2022 at the Addison Family Cemetery.
