Obituary of Joe D. Cobb

Funeral service for Joe D. “Joey” Cobb, Jr., 57, will be held on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Mt. Hebron Freewill Baptist Church with burial to follow in Quaker Cemetery.  The Rev. Jack Cobb will officiate.  The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Hebron Freewill Baptist Church.

    Mr. Cobb passed away on Monday, April 25, 2022.  Born in Camden, he was the son of the late Joe D. Cobb, Sr. and Kay Robinson Cobb.  He was former owner of Cobb’s Custom Cabinets.   He attended Mt. Hebron Freewill Baptist Church and enjoyed playing golf, yardwork, and most of all spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

    Surviving are his Wife of 39 years, Karen McDonald Cobb; mother, Kay Cobb of Camden; daughters, Erica Cobb Watkins (Waylon) of Bishopville and Adrienne Cobb Harris (Justin) of Lugoff; sisters, Robin Branham and Stacey Ray (Gary); brother, Greg Cobb (Abby); and grandchildren, Bailee Baker, Brantlee Baker, Brylee Watkins, Walker Watkins and Sadie Harris.
