Obituary of Carol Lee Ford

LUGOFF – Funeral service for Carol Lee Ford, 77, will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Powers Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Prisma Health Hospice or Blaney Baptist Church.

    Mrs. Ford passed away at home on Tuesday, May 3, 2022.  Born in Portland, Oregon, she was the daughter of the late Ray Lee Mumpower and Clara Maxine Holmstrom Hales.  She was a member of Blaney Baptist Church.  She enjoyed making blankets, flea Markets, genealogy, and gardening.

    Surviving are her husband Douglas McArthur Ford; son, Douglas M. Ford; daughter, Denise  Carol Sebek (Ron); step-sister, Rosemary Taylor; grandchildren, Denise Lynn Ford and R.J. Sebek; and great-grandchildren,  Kaydon, Reiliegh, and Braylyn.
