Graveside services for Mary Frances Presnell Brassell, will be held Thursday, August 11, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens, 11020 Two Notch Road, Elgin.   Frances, the daughter of the late Nathan Talbert Presnell and Dolly Ann Hicks Presnell, died on Sunday, August 7, 2022.

Frances is survived by her daughter, Valerie Brassell Greene (Roy) of Columbia; sister Rilda Presnell Southerlin of Elgin; grandsons Robert “Robbie” Berends (Brittany), Will Berends, Hunter Gurganious; 3 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Other than her parents, Frances was predeceased by her husband, Wilson Franklin Brassell, daughter Vanessa Lynn Brassell, infant grandson Audie Gurganious, and brothers Junior Artemus Presnell, George Weldon Presnell, and Newman Elda Presnell.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
