Funeral services for David Lee Stephenson will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel,1139 Highway 1 South, Lugoff, SC 29020.  Rev. Taylor Wells will officiate. 

David, the son of Rosa Lehmeir Stephenson and the late Bayard Denson Stephenson, died on Tuesday, August 30, 2022.   He was the owner of Stephenson’s H-P Vacuflo in Columbia, SC.  David was an avid USC Gamecock fan.

In addition to his mother, David is survived by his son, Bailey Clark of Elgin; daughter, Sumer Clark of Elgin; sister, Hilda Parker (Grayson) of Woodstock, GA; brother, Sam Stephenson (Marcia) of Lexington, SC; sister, Rose Marie Ratcliff (Gary) of Lexington, SC; sister, Alysia Faircloth (Bill) of Lexington, SC; step-children, Jessie Clark, Erik Clark, and Kaylee Clark; and his best friend, Larry Greene.  He had many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

In addition to his father, David was predeceased by his wife, Lisa Clark.
