Obituary of Paul Raymond Haynes

CAMDEN – A service to celebrate the life of  Paul Raymond Haynes, 81, will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at New Life Christian Outreach with burial to follow in Quaker Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday 5-7 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home.  Memorials may be made to Kershaw County Night to Shine.

    Mr. Haynes passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2022 in the loving arms of his wife, children and grandchildren.  Born in Camden, he was the son of the late William Johnson Haynes and Beatrice Nevada Anderson Haynes.  He retired from DuPont where he was a maintenance planner.  He enjoyed spending time with family, traveling, and antique cars.

    Surviving is his wife, Faye C. Haynes; children, Cynthia Bryant (Marty) of Camden, Paul R. Haynes, II (Susan) of Camden, Michelle Dixon (Chip) of Camden, Sandie Searcy of Darlington, and Steve Arnold (Maria) of Cassatt; grandchildren, Trey Bryant (Anne), Erin Haynes, Flint Dixon, Austin Dixon, Matthew Arnold, and Jake Arnold; sisters, Brenda Snell (Bob), Sadie Judy Rabon, and Doris Haynes; and special family friend, Colleen Rosado. He was predeceased by his siblings, Barbara Marsh, Bill Haynes, and Nevada Bronson.
