Obituary of Bobby G. White

CASSATT-Bobby G. White, 79, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023, peacefully at home surrounded by family. Born in Pecks Mill, West Virginia, he was the son of the late James Lee White and Drusie Ann Stevens White. Mr. White retired from the United States Navy after 26 years of service. He enjoyed working in his garden, sports, bird watching, and above all else being with his family.

Left to cherish his memories are his beloved wife of 60 years, Jeanetta Robinson White; daughter, Kimberley McCall (Bradley); brother, Rex White (Joyce); sisters, Minnie Thorton, Mary Kraft, Janet Watkins, and Sue Bishop (John); granddaughter, Brenna Kerr (Michael); great-granddaughter, Nora Kerr; in-laws, Pauline and Junior Carter, Fayetta Rose, Earnest and Sissy Robinson, and Terry and Ruby Robinson; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by brothers, Richard White, Carl White, and Edward White; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joseph and Alma Robinson.

A memorial service for Mr. White will be held Thursday, January 19, 2023, at 1:00 pm at Powers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society or your local animal shelter.
