Funeral services for Barbara Ann Catoe Rose, will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at Union Baptist Church, 1177 Wildwood Lane, Elgin, SC. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Reverend Luther Harmon and Mrs. Wanda Lewis will officiate.  Memorials may be made to Union Baptist Church.

Barbara, the daughter of the late Palmer C. Catoe and Jessie Rabon Catoe, died on Sunday, August 20, 2023.  She was the wife of the late Jerry E. Rose, Sr.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Valerie Rose Ingram of Columbia; son, Chris Rose of Elgin; grandson, Dillon T. Ingram of Los Angeles, CA; granddaughter, Keely S. McCabe of Columbia; brothers, Caldwell Catoe (Janet) and Charlie Catoe, both of Camden; and sister, Nina Catoe Mullikin of Lexington.

In addition to her parents and husband, Barbara was predeceased by her son, Jerry E. Rose, Jr.; daughter, Elizabeth L. Rose; and sisters, Linda Guell and Joyce Phelps.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
