CAMDEN – Service for Gloria Juanita Nelson, 88, will be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Riverbanks Zoo.

Miss Nelson passed away at home on Friday, August 25, 2023 surrounded by family.  Born in Whitmire, she was the daughter of the late Aubrey Labron Nelson and Maggie Hunnicutt Nelson.  She enjoyed gardening, watching T.V., reading, and spending time with nieces, and nephews. Aunt Nita loved animals, especially cats, and also enjoyed watching them.

Surviving a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

She was predeceased by sisters, Mildred McMillan and Dorothy Nelson; and brothers, Aubrey Labron Nelson, Jr. and Robert L. Nelson.
