The final week of the high school football regular season is in the books.
It’s time to vote for The State’s high school football Player of the Week from Midlands-area high schools and games played Oct. 27. Voting ends this Friday at noon. The winner will be announced on Lou Bezjak’s Twitter page.
The nominees are listed below. Please note that these polls are not scientific and are meant to be just for fun.

Carson Atkinson, OL, Cardinal Newman: Graded out at 90% blocking and helped anchor the offensive line as the Cardinals gained 479 yards in a win over Augusta Christian.
Anthony Brooks, RB/DB, CA Johnson: Sophomore carried it seven times for 109 yards, two touchdowns and had 15 tackles, five for loss and a pass break-up in win over Whitmire.
Sam Burks, RB/DB, Northside Christian: Junior rushed 15 times for 155 yards, two touchdowns, had three tackles, blocked a kick, had an interception and returned a fumble 99 yards for a TD in a win over Spartanburg Christian.
Roger Burns, WR, Fairfield Central: Senior caught eight passes for 157 yards, two touchdowns, had three tackles and returned a fumble 40 yards for a touchdown in the win over Newberry.
Chase Cline, P/K, Chapin: Senior hit two field goals, including the game-winning 49-yarder in win over River Bluff.
Jylil Favor, LB, Irmo: Senior had 14 tackles, three for loss and a sack in win over Lugoff-Elgin.
Durham Kirk, LB, Hammond: Senior had 10 tackles, three for loss, three sacks and a pass break-up in win over Heathwood Hall.
Quayson Peoples, LB, North Central: Sophomore had six tackles, two sacks, two fumble recoveries and two interceptions in win over Central.
Cole Price, WR, Batesburg-Leesville: Senior caught nine passes for 110 yards and three touchdowns, including the game-winner in the overtime victory over Saluda.
Grayson White, QB, Camden: Senior was 13-of-16 passing for 364 yards, three touchdowns, rushed for 50 yards, two touchdowns in win over Marlboro County.
Will Young, QB/WR/DB, Brookland-Cayce: Senior carried it 20 times for 162 yards, two touchdowns and had five tackles in B-C’s region-title clinching win over Gilbert.
