Obituary

Funeral services for Tonya Lee Roberts Jackson will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, November 10, 2023 at Fox Hill Baptist Church, 1904 Fox Hill Road, Lugoff, SC.   Pastor Buddy Neeley will officiate. Burial at the church cemetery will follow.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM.  Memorials may be made to the Kershaw County Humane Society, 128 Black River Road, Camden, SC 29020.

Tonya, daughter of the late Virginia Malone Hall Roberts and Wagner H. Roberts, died on Monday, November 6, 2023.  She was the widow of Kenneth Leroy Jackson.

Tonya is survived by her step-daughter, Christy Brazell (Mark) of Camden; step-son, Kenneth Joel Jackson; grandchildren, Corey Brazell of Elgin and Brooke Campbell (Zachary) of Cassatt; great-grandchildren, Easton Brazell, Cash Brazell, and Paisley Campbell; brother, Wagner H. “Dusty” Roberts II of Washington, DC; sister, Julie Ray Roberts; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Tonya was predeceased by her son, Lance Lowery.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
