CAMDEN – Services for William Faber Duckworth, 91, will be private.  Memorials may be made to St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church, 1301 Mill St, Camden, S.C. 29020.

Mr. Duckworth, husband of Anna Mary Bauer Duckworth, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2024.  Born in St. Louis, MO, he was the son of the late Marvin Elroy Duckworth and Mary Ann Duckworth. Mr. Duckworth graduated from KSU with a degree in Feed Technology. He then joined the Air Force where he was a pilot, followed by serving in the U.S. Army. After his military service, he worked as a manager at JCPenney’s in Minnesota and was also the president of his Rotary club. He enjoyed playing tennis.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his sons, Gary Milton Duckworth (Karen) and Robert Alan Duckworth; grandchildren, Jennifer Horan (Ryan) and Jonathan Duckworth; great-grandchildren, Isabella Horan, Jake Horan, and Samantha Horan; and sister, Shirley Trued. He was predeceased by his brother, Marvin Duckworth, and brother-in-law, Dan Trued.
