Robert Donnell “Tip” Williams, 52, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Wednesday, March 6, 2024. Born in Camden, SC, he was the son of Deborah Ann Williams. Mr. Williams enjoyed driving, going to the beach, country music, skating and above all else, spending time with his grandchildren.

Left to cherish his memories are his children, Dreshawn Hammonds of Columbia, SC, Brandon Patterson of Columbus, GA, and his bonus daughter, Fatima Mack of Camden, SC; mother, Deborah Ann Williams of Camden; sisters, Tiffany Williams of Lugoff, SC, Tamela Williams of Florence, SC, Peshanne Lofton of Norwalk, CT; grandchildren, Paislee Patterson, London Patterson, Justyce Hammonds, Ahkiri Hammonds; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Funeral Service celebrating the life of Mr. Williams will be held Friday, March 15, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Camden First United Methodist Church in Camden, SC with burial to follow in Cedar Cemetery. A public viewing will be held Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm at Powers Funeral Home.
