ELGIN- A memorial service for Ronald Gene “Ronnie” Branham, 63, will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10 – 11 am at the funeral home.

    Ronnie, husband of the late Lucy Branham, passed away at his home on Monday, March 11, 2024. Born in Los Angeles, he was a son of the late Alva Gene Branham and Joann Jinks Hipkiss. Ronnie attended The Journey PHC. He enjoyed motorcycles and hunting.

    Surviving are his children, Ashleigh Patton of Greenville, Gene “Trey” Patton (Crystal) of Elgin; Aaron Gene Branham of Columbia, Michael Branham of Columbia; stepmother, Marie Branham; siblings, Dierdre Andrews, Thomas “Tom” Branham (Leeanne), Herbert Branham (Ritza), Keith Toole, Tina “Sissy” Spires; 13 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and 1 great-grandchild on-the-way.
