Emily Parker Obituary

Funeral services for Emily Munn Parker, 88, will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden, Chapel. Rev. Bobby James will officiate.  A visitation will be from 6:00-7:30 PM on Friday, March 22, 2024, at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel.  Memorials may be made to the Thiel-Meyer Animal Shelter, 128 Black River Road, Camden, SC 29020, or kchumanesociety.org.

Emily Munn Parker died on March 19, 2024.  The daughter of the late Arthur and Evelyn Robinson Munn.  She was a longtime member of Wateree Baptist Church and a former pitcher for the Wateree Baptist Church Softball Team.

Emily is survived by her daughter, Kim Anderson (Larry), of Lugoff; son, Mark E. Parker, of Camden, grandchildren, Terah Anderson (Allen Ross), Peyton Anderson (Liz), and Will E. Parker.

Other than her parents, Emily was predeceased by her husband, Marion Ervin Parker; siblings, Thad Munn, Carol Munn, and Kathleen Anderson.
