Obituary of Patricia Ann Hazle

LUGOFF – A funeral service for Patricia Ann Hazle, 84, will be held Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at 11:00 am at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with burial to follow in Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 1hr prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.

Mrs. Hazle, wife of the late Bob “Hurricane” Hazle, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2024. Born in Lake City, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Sydney Thomas and Josephine Baldwin Thomas. She was a very strong, independent, sassy lady who loved life and her children immensely.

Surviving are her children, Etta Marie Rabon (C.T.) and Robbie Hazle (Vicki); daughter-in-law, Laurie Starnes; grandchildren, Jennifer Starnes, Chelsea Tindall (Michael), Paige Turner (William), and Hannah Starnes; great-grandchildren, Riley Coppedge, Skyler Coppedge, Abigail Turner, and Whit Turner. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her children, Thomas Henry Starnes, Jr. and Jodi Thomas.
