Jeanette Boozer, resident of Greenwood, widow of James Carroll Boozer, passed away Monday, April 1, 2024 at Self Regional Healthcare.
Born January 10, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Luchey and Jane Collier Crosson.
She was an active member of Weston Chapel AME Church in Greenwood, where she served on the Steward Board.
Surviving are three daughters, Sandra Boozer-Greene (Socrates) of Elgin, South Carolina, Kim Boozer Williams (Andre) of Columbia, South Carolina, and Reverend Audrey Boozer of Greenwood and one brother, David Crosson of Chicago, Illinois. In addition, she is survived by nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and a host of loving relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sons, Willie Alfred Blair, Larry Blair, Kenneth Eric Blair, Gregory Carroll and Reginald Boozer and one sister, Willie Neal Fludd of Greenwood.
The funeral will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Weston Chapel AME Church in Greenwood. Burial will be at Oakbrook Cemetery in Hodges. Parks Funeral Home is assisting the family.
