ELGIN- Edna Bryant Coles, 96, passed away on Monday, June 3, 2024 at Pruitt Health Ridgeway. Born in Spartanburg, she was a daughter of the late Essie Bryant. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Camden ward. Edna was a sweet and caring person who was devoted to her church. She had a passion for theater and would often attend the Spartanburg Little Theater.
Surviving are her daughter, Robin Leslie Greer Suttles; grandchildren, Chris Greer, Lindsey Greer, Patrick Greer, Dustin Greer. Cody Hartz, Clay Hartz, Michael L. Greer, Rachel Greer, Keila Boitar; and a great-granddaughter, Chloe Hartz; and well as several other great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband, Mahlon Jason Coles; maternal grandparents, Wideman and Maggie Bryant; and a son, Patrick Greer.
Funeral service for Mrs. Edna Coles will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Camden Ward.
