Donald Weick Obituary

Donald Ward Weick, 65, died on Wednesday, June 12, 2024. Born in Danville, VA, Ward was the son of the late Donald Victor Weick and Emily Hensley Weick.

Ward is survived by his brother, Dick Weick (Patricia) of Greenville, SC; nephew, Devin Weick of Lexington, SC; niece, Emily Weick Nesbitt (Caleb) of Mauldin, SC; aunts, Helen Hensley of Martinsville, VA, Peggy Herring of Chester, VA, and Grace Taylor of Martinsville, VA; and uncle, Dick Weick of Eugene, OR.

Burial will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Oakwood Cemetery, 1 Cemetery Dr., Martinsville VA. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Kershaw County Humane Society, 128 Black River Road, Camden, SC 29020; the Fred Weick Scholarship Fund, c/o Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, 1 Aerospace Blvd, Dayton Beach, FL  32114;  or Sharing Hope of Charleston, 2215 Henry Tecklenburg Drive, Charleston, SC 29414.
